We believe that every child learns best through active integrated engagements and purposeful play in a caring and conducive environment. In this, we believe that the provision of concrete learning materials and the appropriate environment is of utmost important. We also believe that our children must enjoy the needful agency to explore and construct meaning of their experiences from their situated and experiential learning episodes as supported by their teachers. 

It is our vision is to be a quality childcare centre that provides this quality integrated programme for the holistic and wholesome development of our children.

We adopt the principles of the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF) and Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) Curriculum Framework by our Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE), as the backbone of our integrated programme to harness the holistic developments of our children. 

Our integrated programme includes a myriad of different learning experiences to cater towards our children's multi-sensorial and experiential learning, and multi-intelligence developments. Through our programme, we also harness the quintessential 21st century skills development in our children such as critical thinking skills, decision making, creativity, problem-solving skills and collaboration.

The 'premium' 36 months license is awarded by ECDA to our preschool for maintaining the highest regulated standards in our centre operations over an extensive period across 3 consecutive license inspections.  These include the preschool administration, safety, health and hygiene standards, school experience and curriculum, and teacher training and qualification. Wat Patthar attained this recognition in AY2021. 

Further to our license records, our preschool is also awarded SPARK accreditation by ECDA for the quality of our programme. The Singapore Preschool Accreditation Framework (SPARK) is a quality assurance framework that recognizes the preschool's achievement in improved teaching and learning practices, as well as in the overall administration and management. Wat Patthar attained this recognition in AY2017. 

The SG Clean quality mark is awarded by the National Environment Agency (NEA) to organizations for meeting the required sanitation and hygiene standards. These include the assessment in the hygiene management, cleaning methodology and as well as general pest management programmes. Wat Patthar attained this recognition in AY2020.

The Healthy Pre-school Award (Platinum Level) is awarded by Health Promotion Board (HPB) of Singapore to preschools with comprehensive school health promotion practices for preschoolers, parents and staffs. This includes providing a supportive environment for healthy diet and active movement, targeted interventions to obtain a healthy lifestyle and capacity building in teachers and cooks to better bring about knowledge on good health and a balanced diet. Wat Patthar attained this recognition in AY2022.
